Every so often, we will be featuring a group of marine life that can be found in Singapore. Some are seen quite often but some are rarely seen.
I started diving locally in Singapore since 1991 and the first time I ever spotted a frogfish/anglerfish in Singapore was in 1996. That surprised me and a lot of people who wouldn't believe there are such unique creatures in Singapore waters. Since then, I have only spotted others on 7 occassions . Being masters at camouflage and due to our limited vsibility, they are extremely hard to find. They vary in colours but are all the same species. Their size here ranges from about 2 - 5 cm.
