Course Contents:

SCUBA diving is an equipment oriented sports. Everything we do in diving, there is a piece of equipment to support or make it easier for us. This course is to develop your practical knowledge of the theory, principles and operation of diving equipment. To be able to perform routine, recommended care and maintenance of diving equipment.

Academic 2 to 3 sessions Theory, Principles and operation of dive equipment. Recommended care and maintenance of dive equipment. Introduction to new equipment. How Regulator systems and other equipment are maintained and serviced (workshop). Putting together a spare-parts kit.

Pool None No Pool session required.

Open Sea None No Open Sea dives are required.

Pre-requisite:

PADI Junior Open Water Diver, PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent.
