Course Contents:

Capturing a magic moment underwater could be as easy as pressing a button (or not!). Develop your basic photographic knowledge, camera handling and composition. Learn to care for and maintain underwater photographic equipment.

Academic 2 sessions Basic Principles of Underwater Photography including exposure, focus, strobe and available light photography, camera handling techinques and composition. Preparing, caring and maintaining u/w photographic equipment.

Pool(Optional) 1 session Buoyancy, handling a camera underwater, practice estimation of distance u/w and u/w exposure.

Open Sea 2 dives in 1 day Practice with camera in open sea taking still life and moving subjects.

Pre-requisite:
PADI Junior Open Water Diver, PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent.

What are Included in the course fee:
Materials

U/W Photography Manual
U/W Photographer Chevron
Certification Card
Rental of

Boat
Pool
SCUBA cylinders
Weight belt with weights
BCD and Regulator system (included for local training only)

What are NOT included:
Camera System (rental available)
Batteries
Films and film development
Personal basic gears of Mask, Snorkel and Fins.
Wetsuit (rental availavble)

Course Fee:

S$350 Local training
S$550 Academics and Pool (optional) done locally. 2 training dives and another 3 to 4 leisure dives on a short weekend to either Pulau Aur or Pulau Tioman.
** Courses DO NOT include camera rental. Camera rental can be arranged with Sea & Sea Underwater Camera Equipment.

Minimum Students Required:
No minimum numbers required to start.

Course Schedule:

Academics on any 2 evenings available. Pool on either Tuesday , Wednesday or Thursday evening. Local dives on any one Sunday. Weekend to either Pulau Aur or Pulau Tioman will start from Friday evening till Sunday evening.

Trial and error is a very common term we use in Underwater Photography. With the right guidance and the proper knowledge to adapt and change will greatly reduce the time before you see acceptable results. We will be available to advise you and help you learn through your mistakes. Your learning experience with underwater photography does not stop when your course ends with us. It will just be the beginning!
