Course Contents:

Someone's loss is our gain! Diving on a wreck brings a sense of eeriness and awe. A ruin of the sea could be so beautiful but it could also be dangerous. Develop your knowledge in the planning and organising a wreck dive. Practical knowledge includes recognising and avoiding potential hazards of wreck diving.

Academic 1 session Reasons for wreck diving. The law of wreck diving. Wreck diving techniques and potiential hazards.

Pool None No pool session required.

Open Sea **4 dives in 2 days Navigating a wreck, Laying of penetration line and penetration of wreck.

** PADI Advanced Open Water Divers that did the Wreck dive as an elective dive need only do 3 more wreck dives to complete the Wreck Diver Specialty.

Pre-requisite:
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent.
15 years old and above

What are Included in the course fee:
Materials

Wreck Diver Chevron
Certification Card
Rental of

Boat
BCD and Regulator system
SCUBA cylinders
Weight belt with weights

What are NOT included:

Personal basic gears of Mask, Snorkel and Fins.
Wetsuit (rental availavble)

Course Fee:

S$560 Between 3 to 4 training dives and another 1 to 2 leisure dives on a weekend to either Kuantan or Pulau Tioman (rental of BCD and Regulator system an additional S$30)

Minimum Students Required:
Minimum of Two (2) students required to start the practical dives.

Course Schedule:
Academics on any evening available. Weekend to Kuantan or P.Tioman on a live-on-board is from Friday evening to Sunday evening.

Availability of wreck dives will depend on location and tide conditions.

Diving into History! Most wrecks have a historical value and hopefully divers are sensible enough to respect those values by not removing objects from the wrecks. Don't be selfish but let other divers that dive the wrecks enjoy them as well. As the saying goes, "Take nothing but your memories and leave nothing but your bubbles". Wreck diving can be fun and enjoyable but know the hazards involved.
