There are dive computers and there are dive computers. Then there is the Suunto dive computer range. From a basic model to the air-integrated computers and those with the option of a wireless transmitter.

Range of models includes: The range includes: Gekko, Vyper, Vytec DS, Cobra, Mosquito, Stinger, D6 and D9.

NOTE: Besides calculating your dive time, etc., all Suunto dive computers have the standard features.

GEKKO - The most basic of the Suunto range. If you want a no frills computer with Nitrox at a budget price, this is it. Nitrox capable up to 50% O2.
VYPER - a wrist computer with (almost) everything. Nitrox capable up to 50% O2.
VYTEC - Similar to VYPER but with a few additions. Optional wireless transmitter to read tank pressure. Nitrox capable up to 99% with ability to pre-program 3 different gas mixtures and allows switching while underwater.
COBRA - Similar to VYPER but air-integrated via a high pressure hose. Can attached an optional Suunto SK-7 compass. Nitrox capable up to 50% O2.
MOSQUITO - has the same functions as the STINGER. Only difference is that is has a complete plastic material assembly as compared to the Stinger. There is also the option of changing the face colour when you get bored with your current colour.
STINGER - Everything the VYPER has (except dive simulator), the Stinger has except it is in a much smaller package. There is also the option of having the watch with a bracelet instead of the standard elastomer strap. Go for top-of-the-line all titanium model which is 30% lighter.
D6 - Similar to the VYTEC but in a smaller package! It has the addition of an electronic compass. Nitrox capable to 100% but with only 2 pre-program gas mixtures.
D9 - Suunto top-of-the-line dive computer! All the other Suunto dive computers rolled into one small package! Additonal to all the features of the other computers, it has a titanium casing and a wireless transmitter (optional). The D9 package also includes the PC interface.
